Create the tag
In the Action Tags manager, give the Action a name and choose a safe hosted Link Page or HTTP(S) destination. Connect Simply360 when you want a record-aware Wizard. The destination can change later without re-printing anything.

An Action Tag is a small, managed trigger: the QR, ordinary URL NFC tag, and Action Link share one opaque identity, while the platform decides what opens and records privacy-limited analytics.

Order tags through the shop — TapTag prints your artwork and loads your action link before they ship — or print the QR yourself. Already own NFC tags? Point them at your actions instead of buying new ones.
An ordinary URL NFC tap opens instantly in the browser — no app to install. Secure-chip and Fresh Scan verification are separate powered/provisioned capabilities and are never implied by a plain URL tag.
Each interaction records retention-limited detail and lifetime aggregate analytics. When Simply360 is connected, successful powered actions can update records — attendance, feedback, sign-ups — and run governed follow-up automations.
The security story
Ordinary URL Actions are safe dynamic destinations, not proof of physical presence. Stronger verification exists only where its separate powered or secure-provisioning requirements are met.
Secure tags can compute a one-time cryptographic code, but keys, initial counters, custody, and converter handoff require the separately reviewed secure-NFC provisioning program.
Provisioned secure taps carry incrementing counters that the platform accepts once. This protection applies only to correctly provisioned secure chips, never to an ordinary NFC URL or QR screenshot.
Powered workflows can require short-lived Fresh Scan evidence. Standalone URL and Link Page Actions remain useful dynamic destinations but do not claim that browser navigation proves presence.
Printed credentials are governed by policy: where they can be presented, which actions they unlock, and instant revocation — with every presentation logged, allowed or denied. Apple and Google Wallet projections of the same credentials are coming soon.
Staff scan barcodes with a phone camera, tap NFC, or search by name in one mobile-friendly screen — built for the table by the door, not a server room.
Resolution outcomes feed human/bot-aware analytics. Raw IP and user-agent values are masked after seven days; lifetime totals do not keep lifetime request identifiers.
The short version
The tag is simple on purpose — all the intelligence stays on the platform, where it can be updated, audited, and revoked without touching the hardware.
